“I am Reily Niitav, originally from Estonia, and I have lived and worked in Finland since 2009. Currently, I am pursuing my passion further by studying in the four-year Professional Fine Art Programme at the Free Art School (Vapaa Taidekoulu) in Helsinki. I have always been deeply drawn to colours and creative expression.
In 2020, I began my creative journey with acrylic painting, exploring various techniques and materials. Driven by curiosity, I love experimenting with a wide range of media—often incorporating recycled materials into my canvas work.
My process is profoundly intuitive and guided by emotion. However, I intentionally leave the specific feelings behind each piece unspoken; I believe there is something beautiful in how we each experience art through our own unique eyes and perspective. This freedom of interpretation is precisely why I am so drawn to abstract art.”
